A Letter from Dutzow Community Club:
We hope that you had a Great Holiday season. Even though we are in the middle of winter, baseball and softball season is right around the corner. The Dutzow Community Club will be holding our 2019 signups over the next few weeks and we hope your family can join us for the upcoming season.
Our organization is driven by the motto: “It’s All About the Kids” and we have several exciting things happening at the ball park for 2019 that will continue to enhance the experience for your family. These events include:
*Opening Day & Pictures (April 27) – all teams will participate in events including exhibition games. *Mizzou Softball game (TBD) – All players and their families are invited to attend a special day with the Mizzou Tigers. *Cardinal Night (Date to Be Determined) – all players who register will receive a free ticket to the Cardinal ball game which will include walking on the field. Additional tickets for family members will also be available. *Year-End Playoffs (July) – all teams in eligible divisions will participate in the WYSA year-end playoffs and Dutzow will be host to multiple games. *All-Star Weekend (July 13-14) – all players will be eligible to participate in this event once again hosted by Dutzow. The event has been enjoyed by over 5,000 attendees who have made many lasting memories.
The Dutzow Community Club will also continue to be the home of:
*Best Fields In Area – during inclement weather the fields are playable long before most other area locations. *Great Concession Stand - a full stand with all the staples of a great ballpark atmosphere (burgers, dogs, fries, beverages (including the adult variety), chips, snow cones, etc.) with the cheapest prices around. *Great Coaches – some of the most experienced coaches in which their commitment to the kids and knowledge of the game are hard to beat. *Family Friendly Atmosphere – the complex features 22 acres of open space which allows for plenty of room for families to stretch out and relax. Also, lots of shade and no traffic concerns. *Affordable Kid Focused Experience - our motto says it all. We are all about the kids and providing the most affordable ball playing experience. We are one of the last “true” Community Clubs in the area.
Per multiple requests, there will be a 13 player limit for each team and priority placement will be given based upon signup (post-mark) date. Thus, it will be conducive to sign up as early as possible.
Additional information about the upcoming season and the registration form can also be found at our website: www.dutzowballpark.com. Any questions can be sent to Tim Maune (636-390-3739), Chris Molitor (636-828-5921), or Steve Hanneken (314-691-3560).
The Dutzow Ballpark has been proud to host youth sports for well over 35 years and is home to some of the best maintained fields in the area. We are able to provide these excellent facilities at the lowest possible cost due to all of the parents and volunteers that spend countless hours at the ball park. We greatly appreciate all of the efforts of our parents and volunteers.
Again, we hope your family can join us for the 2019 season.
